Club Arnage - The heir of the 917 is the 919, but what of the Porsche 918?

We all know about the fabulous Porsche 917 and we now know a fair bit about the Porsche 919, (even if we are not nuclear scientists and don’t fully understand how on earth it works). So what happened to the Porsche 918?

For me, the 918 is the best looking car Porsche has ever made (well, apart from the 917 Langheck - every time I walk past one at Goodwood I think about how I can steal it.)

I think that the idea of a race derived V8 in a drop dead sexy body is so much more desirable than the Mclaren P1 or LeFerrari (what a name!)
