Easy to tell - just look out for the fast-as-f**k mini-cabs on the streets of downtown Istanbul!
I dont't think they go all the way either ..... and definately not south of the river

Just 93.9!!!! i had to pay 96.9 yesterday as I was low on fuel, it then spotted 103.9 for diesel later in the day!!!!!
Diesel in is supposed to be 4p a litre cheaper then petrol, as said by the chancellor in the 2003 budget.

I found out why there was not enough fuel at the Instanbul-circuit>> Turkey: Price in liras - Price in euros Unleaded 95: 2,54 - 1,58 Unleaded 98: 2,77 - 1,72 Diesel: 2,15 1,34 LPG: 1,17 0,73 Unleaded ('Kursunsuz benzin') is easily obtainable.
Unleaded for €1,72 a litre, that's £1.20 !

The last time I believed anything a chancellor said I was still at school. And that was Healey saying that he was going to sqeeze the rich untill the pips squeaked. Only difference is that the present incumbant has forgotton the rich bit, and is screwing everyone.

Don't get me started on fuel prices! I had to pay $2.64 a gallon yesterday - it was 99c When I moved here in 2001

Never really figured that one out Barry - why US galls are different to the old imperial measure, I've no idea. Aside from the gentle piss-taking, it is becoming a worry here too. The entire economy revolves around gasoline and $3 per gallon is a certainty within the next week or so in FL (It varies significantly state to state). All kinds of hilarious excuses - the latest being increased price for 'summer-blend' fuel. I'm planning a road-trip to AZ soon and my 'Burban does an impressive 15mpg - so not much change out of $600 for petrol there and back - that blows.

Why not move on to LPG ? I've done that a couple of years ago and although I'm driving a gas guzzler (for European standards) it helps to keep the bills low. See Paddy's post: 'Just' 72 Cents for 1 liter of LPG in Turkey, I pay 69 Cents over here and 47 Cents in Belgium.

I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.

The reluctance in the Uk to change to LPG is due to the lack of petrol stations selling the stuff, and we know if it gets to popular good old Gordon will whack up the taxes on it.
