Oh no, I went to school with his son Nikko. Twas back in the late 70s @ Cookham Dean primary. Spent many a summer's afternoon around his place playing with old rallying stuff.

I met him a few times in Marlow - a nice chap.
Thoroughly saddening.

I once spent 2 days with this fantastic guy learning how to left foot brake. it was when he was with Lancia, so we had great fun blasting around in a Delta HF Intergrale. Infact I am looking at the signed print of said car which is on my office wall. Pentti was great to be with and a lot of fun and when you sat next to him on a drive, No roller coaster could do better.    RIP Pentti
