Lunching Locations
« on: January 10, 2010, 05:46:32 pm »
Brittany Ferries have been in contact to say that we'll now be arriving in France around 11:30 [12:30 local] on the Wednesday.

Can anyone recommend a good restaurant for lunch not too far out of Cherbourg, if not even Cherbourg itself?

Thanks in advance,

Paul [Landman]

A word of warning, practice/qualifying on Wednesday is starting early this year, at 4pm.
Expect road closures and associated chaos by the time you get to the circuit.

Ah, thanks for that, in which case we'll make straight for Bleu Nord at best speed.

Cheese & pickle sarnie's alround.

Thinking about it, it probably won't make much difference to you, I should think that that will be they will be shutting the roads and prepping the circuit before you get off the ferry anyway.
I'd stop and enjoy a civilized luncheon, before the drinking starts. ;D
