The Burgundy Beast triumphs!!!
« on: September 21, 2003, 08:50:04 pm »
The "Burgundy Beast" took honours at Gurston Down today by winning the championship in the under 1400cc class, although during the 2 practice runs Ian had fuel problems with the car. These were sorted during the lunch break  and he then secured third place on the day.

Conratulations to Ian for the champinship win and we"The Shed Crew" hope to see more of this next season, especially with your newly gained handicap!!!!!.........Sorry.New shared driver.!!!

For those of you who want to see the"Beast" in actioon come down to the October track day at Sparkford

I believe that I too have a burgundy beast.
Maybe this should be in the Sea Slug post though.

Well done with the win (what model of burgundy hill-climbing beast is it anyway?). Post some details.

Cheers,

Rich, the "beast" is a Westfield SEiW powered by a Ford Cosworth  1380cc BHD, producing about 180bhp, revving to 9500rpm.

As for Dreamracer, you'll see it soon enough.  Take yer camera to Sparkford track day in October!!
