Still thinking about going to Le Mans?
« on: March 24, 2010, 11:56:46 pm »
Ryan Air - the world's NOT favourite airline are doing flights from Stansted to Tours from £7.49 during Le Mans week.

Just booked the kids (well, twins-17) on flight leaving at 8am. arriving Tours 10.20a.m local.
They cannot go in the cars becuse of A levels.
I reckon you can do Tours / Le Mans in about an hour or so at racing speed.

For anyone still thinking about it, well worth a look
 ;D

Should easily do it within the hour - the airport is about 3 mins drive from the A10 and the nice new A28 is the next junction north. Especially if you use a French hire car, everyone knows that have almost unlimited speed and even the humble VW Lupo turns into a perfect 4x4 when it's owned by Avis or Europcar!
