LM 2010 - Is Anyone Recording It?

Yes, I'm on the scrounge again.

After a quick flick through the Sky mag for June I was horrified to see that there is no coverage of the great race in NZ at all.     If any of the Kiwi contingent can prove me wrong please let me know.

So if anyone is planning on recording it - or even part of it - could I have a copy please?  I'm happy to pay the postage to get the copy here, and if you're really lucky a bottle of my finest vinegar wine will have your name on it.

I'll be trying to but it's not easy as it hops between Eurosports 1 and 2 which are tough to programme properly with Canal+ (Oh, and the commentary will be in Frog but you don't mind that, do you?)

Deb, you are an absolute star!!!  Anything that you can manage would be greatly appreciated.  I don't mind Frog commentary at all - especially as I'm trying to learn the language.

To be honest, I think the French commentary is excellent on Eurosport - don't know what the English version is like - maybe it's Radio LM, dunno.  I will do my best but if anybody else plans to record it I suggest you have a back up since my French satelite can be a bit dodgy (unlike the UK one).

I have just finished copying last years race onto dvd to make room on my V+ box  so I will be recording the whole race. I can send you a copy when I get back ( it won't take a year this time I HOPE! )

Same here. I have a mate that works in IT who is trying to find me 24 hour coverage on the net and find a way to download it all to disc. I will let you know how that works out

Can you copy from V+ to DVD

Of course you can, you connect a scart lead to the spare socket on the back and the connect the other end to the scart socket on the DVD recorder. The tuner will then pick up whatever is being played on the V+ box and you can record it to the Hard drive on the DVD recorder. Thats how mine works anyway.
