Meteo looks a bit dodgy for friday, you can shelter under my Gazebo while one of the guys puts your tent up. Martini...LB I got blimmin soaked putting my tent up at the last Classic!!! Mind you, not as bad as Steve Brown's mate Andy who was driving an open car with no windscreen! Not sure how big my tent is for working out our formation, but it weighs less than 1.5kg - did I mention that?! F I remember watching you in the rain, I did help for a short while though until you said you could manage, IIRC Might be, as you are a Lady, a good idea to keep you away from the SnoreMonster BTW, I am on the vodka now, not sure if the restaurants will be busy or not tonight, with the football on TV. I was quite surprised last night as people were still turning up at 10.30 fo a meal. Not like that in the UK, they a friend who has arestaurant in Greece says it is nothing for the Greeks and Italians to turn up at 11.30 for a meal, then want to chat until 02.30. >Martini...LB

I was probably being all feminist (or it was before I realised the tent pole was actually broken).

. Bleu Nord Rang L Place 79.
I should move because the neighbours are awful. See you Friday. Oh and if you have the mower out that'll be L80 and M79 and 80 thank you. Any idea where that is? The place numbers are totally different when compared with the 24 Heures. t. Do you really think they are different and if so why? Because according to this: http://www.clubarnage.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=10102.0;attach=6831they are on the South boundary about half way along the site (shaded brown -ie last year's TL/CA encampment). Well my place this year was Zone D Rang 6 Place 64. I think on that map that those shown as AA AB etc were in fact numbered from 1 onwards. But anyway, I'm pretty confident about where Row L is.

I like your thinking. But my place was on AI and I is the 8th letter. So they may have gone AO == 1 AN and AM == 2 AL == 3 adn so on that would make AI == 6 But why then go to Z and go down the Alphabet? Arrr It's France and the ACO!! Now I understand. BTW what time will you be setting up? t.

Yes, I take your point but it was the best explanation I could come up with. The map certainly corresponds with the spaces we had in '09 which were also on the South side of the site.
We will be getting there some time Friday morning depending upon when everybody gets out of bed.

If I could get off the ferry at 06:45 I'd expect to be there by 09:00 but of course that never happens so it's be more like 08:00 off the ferry and by the time I've stopped for a Cafê and Croissant I'll prolly roll in about midday. t.

Scorching hot so don't forget the suntan cream and the big hats and bring plenty of water to wash the real stuff down with. Mid 30s at the mo' and no breeze to speak of.

50km south of Le Mans now and about to jump in the pool. 37 in the shade here, far too hot to do anything else. Have a great Classic weekend everyone. As Termie says, bring plenty of suncream, big hats and water. It's going to be hot

Your Flag pole nearly made it. But since I don;t have a Canadian Flag to fly from it I though best to leave it behind. t.
