Bye bye Redgate Lodge
« on: February 10, 2011, 08:57:46 am »

Sad to see Donington's famous Redgate Lodge has been pulled down to increase run off area. A shame, though I suppose it's understandable, but it's nice to see the actual Lodge is in storage ready to be rebuilt somewhere else on the curcuit.

The French would never do this, they simply bulldoze the remains of anything famous into trucks and pretend it never existed. Vive la difference!
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

However it will return.
They have dismantled the shed and stored it in a shed to be rebuild as a shed later after works are complete.
Many a good sup had in the old redgate shed

True that Andy - I've sunk a few in there over the years as well.
I tested negative for patience.
