afternoon chaps
Was present on Blue Nord in 2010 with Landman and LuxExpat – my first year after wanting to witness Le Mans since I was 17 and first saw the film. That, was a very long time ago.
Was mostly vertical throughout the proceedings, was a pleasure to meet you all. DfH were spectacular, as were JPChenet's hospitality, and the image of a pole dancing semi naked Lord Pig Pen on the Brethrens control tower will be forever etched on my mind – even vast quantities of beer cant remove it, oh well.
You were all very friendly and hospitable. To say I "enjoyed it" would be the understatement of the century. I really didnt think I was going to make it this year, I really didn't, but by some fluke I have obtained a pink pass and I can and I will.
I hope to be raising a beer with you all in a French field in June
