Highcroft have withdrawn from this years 24 hrs and also ended their relationship with Honda.

That puts the Kronos Aston onto the grid. So at least we get to see an Aston beyond the first hour (if at all).

Arrrgh - and I thought I had just finished that f*cking entry list for the 2011 CA Guide Angry

So who has some pics of this car? Or knows what the livery is? Sounds like they didn't race anywhere this year... or have they been at the test day?

Twitter has let me down.

I saw Bas Leinders post up a comment last Friday, but there were now follow up messages.

Sad to see the reasons why [but fully understandable], however that V12 wail is back!  Grin

Isn't that Kronos racing AM run by MarcVDS racing. They basically got a shitbox, the only thing good about that car was the chassis, but everything else was worn out and had to be replaced. I wonder if that is going to have an effect on its running speed and endurance!

Yep, they run it together with VDS.  Didn't do too many laps at the test day because of a leak in their fuel tank.

Sad not to see the Highcroft at Le Mans, really like that car and was hoping they might squeeze inbetween the tractors.  On the other hand happy for Kronos (as it's a Belgian team), if they can get the car right, they could go a long way in the 24h.

@ Werner : no problem, just shout if you need any other photo's !

Haven't I already sent you pics from test day - Werner?  You should have all the reserves including the Kronos.  According to my list you have both track and scrut' shots.

As far as I can tell - that puts Vanina in as well! Grin

Given that it is looking extremely unlikely the factory AMs are going to be anywhere near competitive it might not be a bad idea for some of the factory effort to be pushed towards Kronos - we can but hope!
