Hi Debs and Ian, I can't believe what I have just read as not been on the site for a bit.
Just when it seemed that this were stabilising you both get the crap kicked out of you again, as all the folk here I also have my thoughts and hopes for you both.

Trivia still happen in illness. We learnt today that Deb will not be charged a supplement for the single room she has had for three weeks - because she didn't ask for it! That means we still have 30 days single room entitlement under our "top up" insurance, which should take care of most of the rest of this event, we hope. Lovely intern put her arm round Deb while talking about the situation. They don't all do that. Deb goes to gynae 0900 tomorrow.

Just had a very groggy Deb on the phone. She only awoke an hour ago, having gone down for surgery 8 hours before. Medics view - having removed everything, a full hysterectomy - is that things are very much better than they had feared. Result!
