About a month ago I submitted 3 pictures for the "Concours Sarthe Endurance Photos" (http://www.endurancephotos.sarthe.com/en-GB/default.asp).
Didn't hear anything about it, untill today ... got an email stating this :

Thank you for taking part in Sarthe Endurance Photos 2010 contest.

We are delighted to inform you that one of your pictures (below) has been awarded by the jury chaired by Henri Pescarolo at Abbaye de l’Epau.

Congratulations !

As it was noticed in the contest rules, Conseil général de la Sarthe wishes to extend our common passion by displaying all the granted pictures in the Mecca of Endurance Cars : 24 Hours – Circuit de la Sarthe Museum !

We’d like you to send us your high definition picture so that we could make a draw. You will receive in a few weeks the modalities of the awards and the exhibition.

We are thus waiting for your email and we’d like you to accept our congratulations and greetings.

Guess I'll have to make a trip to the museum this winter  .  And hope they'll give me some good news in a few weeks when the price draw has been made !
Pretty much over the moon with this one right now.

Didn't make it into the top 5, but got placed in the category 6-20th.
Got me 2 entry tickets for the 24h this year, let's hope we"ll get into that top 5 now.

Sadly couldn't get to the museum, but found this in my mailbox today :

D’autre part, votre cliché gagnant a été exposé au Musée des 24 Heures – Circuit de la Sarthe. L’exposition est aujourd’hui terminée mais votre photo sera affichée ( avec sa plaque descriptive) dans les salons réceptifs du musée et du Conseil général lors des 24 heures 2012 et du rassemblement Le Mans Classic (6-8 juillet).

Picture will be exposed again during the 24h and the Classic ... me happy  .

We went on Thursday and they were in the process of setting up a new exhibition so sadly we missed it. Good to know we'll get another chance.
