Watch the Greek Govt. or lack of. Just had elections as well and seemed to have voted out
the people that agreed the bailouts with the IMF.

They are against all the recent measures brought in to satisfy the bailout.

I'd advise waiting a week or so, see if there are surprises or upheavals with the new government coming in. When new governments take power they often like to throw out a few headline-grabbing policies and junk some of the ones from their predecessors, so give it a week or two and see how things pan out unless there's an especially good deal going anywhere.

You should be getting 1.2 Euro to the £ now.

You could wait and hope it gets better, which given the current mutterings from Greece, France and Italy is likey.

But you will be kicking your self if it slips below 1.2 again.
Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

If you want to keep track of what the £/€ situation is, then this is the most accurate site I know of, it is the commercial rate though.

Sounds like the Beeb are suggesting that we wait to buy our Euros.

But then again it is the Beeb.....
