Some people will tell you that slow is good - and it may be, on some days - but I am here to tell you that fast is better.

A true icon of the sport.  Le Mans winning driver, engineer, innovator, legend.
Will fix a pot of his chili tonight in his honor, and wash it down with a good Texas beer.
Rest in peace Carroll

One of the all-time legends. Also one of the few designers who created a car almost as scary as the Lister-Jaguar.

RIP Mr Shelby.

Reading The Cobra Story (way back when...) led to my interest in ABCs coverage of Le Mans in '65 which hooked me on sportscar racing. Thank you Carroll and Godspeed...

About time Mr B, thought the old girl was going the same way as the Commer, unloved and never taken for a spin.
Did you say you might bring her to LM or the Classic? Can't remember which.

We will have the Cobra race to look forward to at the Goodwood revival this year. A fitting memorial to a great man.
Never argue with an idiot, they'll only drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
