If I had all the money I've ever spent on drink, I think on balance, I'd probably spend it on drink.

OK - I will open the bidding (with not much hope of being right) with Wolsey Hornet (or maybe Frazer Nash!).

How about a pic of the front and a clue as to the decade!!

Looks like it could be one of those motorcycle engined 'midget racers' of the 30's and 40's, that were popular in USA, Australia and NZ.

Fran - I thought it had a bit of Frazer Nash look to it as well.

Nick - is that a JAP engine in there?

BIG give away

A G.N Cyclecar, about 1 litre JAP engine

G.N., built by a firm founded in 1910 by two young men in their early twenties, ‘Archie’ Frazer-Nash (1889-1965) and H. R. Godfrey (b. 1887).

so which one is it? It's a 'special' and has a name, but you can't post up all the names from Wikipedia as guesses.

Thats the one GF. Started it up this afternoon in the garage.  Forgot that you get tear gas out of the exhaust when you're running on methanol.  cough cough.

The left side bonnet cut-out was the distinguishing feature.

In blue, it looks a bit like a pocket size Bugatti type 35!

I was a bit tempted by Bugatti as well... but resisted!
