Paula (try again - hit the wrong key!)  The blue card is a membership card for the ACO (Automobile Club de l'Ouest) who are the organising body for the race.  It gives you (somewhat dubious) breakdown insurance whilst in France, cheaper tickets (not relevant in this case as you already have the tickets), access to the members enclosure in the Village, and a host of material including a free program.  So if you have it, take it with you.  Also, the toilets in the ACO stand, half way along the pit straight, are the best on the circuit.

The thought of communicating with a nubile 24-year old, especially with her sign-on name, gave me a bit a shakey hand.  However, I feel that I may be a trifle too old for Paula (I first went to LM in 1965), but it doesn't stop me dreaming!!!

Am only sat here this morning thinking that I totally agree with you powermite, but I can think of a few other people it could be too.

Call me a sceptic but with some of the stories etc that get posted on here a think i'll take this with a pinch of salt.

However if I am wrong I do appologise and will be on hand to put up tents etc as previously mentioned.

This is not a wheeze, we are two girls going to Le man, for the first time, I should have been going with my boy friend, but this has not worked out, so Jayne is coming with me.
It seems that Power mite and Chris from Liverpool have doubts, but you will see and we may even cook for a few of you, but you will have to do your own washing. Jayne has called around today and aggrees with me, that you are a great bunch of guys, if this is a taste of what is to come roll on June.

Would never cast asparagus as I am very fond of it!!!!!. And I do hope that I am totally proven wrong with regard to this being a wheeze but I will withold judgement now until june.
