For anyone wanting a bit more of a motorsport fix, don't forget that the BriSCA F1 stock cars are on at Northampton Raceway (Brafield on the Green) on the Saturday night from 18:30 onwards. F1's probably start around 7 pm. The track is only about 25 mins drive from Silverstone. I'll be heading there straight after the LMES race finishes.

Sounds like a total plan to me. Trouble is, by then I'll have been on the sauce all day so will need to get a bus or taxi. Where exactly is the Northampton Raceway? Long time since I spent hours watching Brisca F1 & 2 at Aycliffe.

Northampton Raceway - If you look at an online map of Northampton and look at the South East part of the area, you will find a village named Horton and above that there is a village named Brafield on the Green. There is a road that runs between the two villages named either Brafield Road or Horton Road. The stadium is located on the left hand side on that road about half way between the two villages.  Just about he only thing along that road apart from a farm entrance, so easy to spot.

Would offer you a lift but already have a car full.

Thanks for the info mate. I've a few more buddies coming along so transport shouldn't be a prob.

Also on the bill at Northampton Raceway alongside the BriSCA F1 stock cars are the BriSCA V8 Hotstox (smaller cheaper version of F1's running Rover V8's) & The National Ministox ( kids between 11 - 16 years old is race constructed cars that resemble minis) They race just as hard as the adults !

Admission is £16 adults, £13 concessions and £7 children.

Hopefully you don't roll down the hill in to the pond then.

Unfortunately I can only make Sunday this year.

Where's everyone meeting?

Might have some big news (for me at least  Grin) on Friday or Saturday.  Had a few interesting calls today, seems like I've opened a few doors somehow.

Well I will be there on the Sunday only, but very early as I don't want to miss anything. Really looking forward to June, the time can't go quick enough for me.
