Can anyone provide an update please on whether or not glass bottles are not allowed on the campsites.

Thanks

Jem
Nobody replied to my post about this as well. However, I got 114 views and you've only got 91.
It appears that it's a big secret!

In response to this question, I found NO restrictions last year.  We stayed on Pincenardiere, which shares an entrance with Dairon and Beausejour at the Porsche curves roundabout.  Whilst there were checks being done, they did not seem to be searching for bottles,  cans or alcohol in any form. I did try to ask WHAT exactly they were searching for, but my mixture of bad french and shouting in English did not return comprehensible answers.

They certainly frown upon glass being carried " in hand " on entrance to the circuit in recent years, but do not check bags or rucksacks.  There were still guys wheeling substantial cool boxes in last year unchecked.

Andy,

The wicked brew has evolved somewhat and now comprises the following:

1 bottle of vodka
1 bottle of champagne
1 large carton of Innocent Smoothie- the strawberry one
1 tin of red bull
A splash of Special Brew (gives it a nice head)

Mix all together in a large jug, ice not recommended, make sure the ingredients are chilled.

If you have anything important to do I suggest you do so before drinking the brew!

Good luck

Jem
