Aussie Poll Rugby World Cup
« on: November 18, 2003, 02:27:17 pm »
Just had this by email. The vote is going badly for the Aussies. It seems that 87% of those polls think England were scintillating. And rightly so.

"Time to rig an Aussie internet poll! Follow the link below to rate England's performance on the Sydney Morning Herald web site. Go to this link

http://smh.com.au/polls/sport/form.html

and vote that England were "Scintillating", then pass this message on to as many England rugby fans as you know. If we can make Scintillating the top rating then it's certainly going to confuse the Aussies.

Get voting and pass it along.

I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Consider it done.

Looks like the Aussies are fighting back though as the 'Scintillating' option now down to 83%.

Top polling effort gents, glad that CA has done it's bit.

Did you notice that over 115,000 people had voted? If you look at the page below the poll, they only usually get about 1000 people voting. The band width on the site must be smashed!
