with all they hype today about the Football or Soccer transfer window closing tonight, media attention will swap to all these over paid premadonna's being paid thousands of pounds to kick a pigs bladder around a grass pitch or not it they have a bruised toe or something similar. Now my point is that the moto gp riders are proper hard b$stard$. My utmost respect to Marc Marquez, falls off his bike in practice, dislocates his shoulder, has it popped back into place and then finishes second in the race at silverstone .

It was a great race, all 3 have had s few scrapes this year, yet still turn it on when needed.

Marc is a legend in making without s doubt, the high res slow motions leave me shaking my head in disbelief.

As said by many, these guys are truly a different breed.  We were over at Indy a couple of weeks ago, and Marquez was simply stunning, visibly quicker than his rivals, as he was in his Moto 2 days.  Agreed, a legend in the making, my only concern is for his long term health.  Have a feeling that taking it to the edge as often as he does is evetually going to beat the crap out of him, like Lorenzo, and Pedrosa.
Its pretty remarkable, how relatively injury free Vale has been compared to most of his colleagues, Pedrosa in particular has been rebuilt so often, he's going to rust from the inside out, from all the hardware he's had bolted in.

Hey Fax,

As it was the British GP at Silverstone, I actually sat down and watch some over the practice and the race on the BBC, it is a truly spectacular event with the racers really racing and on the edge all the time, so much more entertaining than F1 "follow the red bull".  I will be watching more Moto GP in the future.

Watch it all the time in preference to F1 processions.  The chap is using knee and elbow sliders in the corners. The bike has its front wheel unweighted/slightly off the ground, while the rear wheel slides through the corner under power.  And that's controlled/normal.  Awesome and superb racing with real overtaking.  And, yes, occasionally it goes a bit wrong but, if humanly possible, the guy climbs back on the bike and goes out again.  Respect.  Nuff said.....
