Almost certainly nobody on here will be at BSJ. It's a terrible campsite miles from anywhere. You have to be insane, or totally desperate to even consider staying there.
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Chesteree,

Firstly, welcome.
Beausejour is a perfectly good campsite.
Lively (can be noisy), good facilities, nice showers, lots of food and coffee vendors. Plus access to
the inside of Porsche curves.
We stay in Pincenardiere adjacent which is also fine, only quieter.
When the trains and buses are running, getting to the circuit is no problem.  Easy access to Technoparc by Karting Nord
Antares and the main entrance near to Musee.

Like CLK says...

Although BSJ is not 'ideal' as a campsite, so long as you don't set your expectations too high, it is perfectly adequate. Boisterous and buzzy is OK if that is what you like. Yes, it is a longish walk to the start/finish action, but there is transport laid on if you don't mind waiting for it.

Usual security rules for LM camping apply in BSJ in particular. Don't leave valuables protected only by canvas, in fact leave valuables at home if at all possible.

See you June!

I don't mind it down that neck of the woods, better than the old Houx which was a snake pit. Pincenardiere is where Lofty bloke and me usually camp. Nice and quiet, near the curves and the Reggae Reggae bus do us fine.

Andy's right. A mate of mine camped there last year, and when he woke up in the morning, he was certain that he'd been 'interfered with'.

Yeah , we got pillaged on Pincenardiere last year. They just took some
folding chairs and banners.  Left the beers and radios......! Thank f**k

I find myself on Tetre Rouge this year for the first time. Anyone with any experience of this campsite?

Hi Steve,
While I have never stayed on Tetre Rouge it has the advantage of being within the track. Entrance off the road that become Mulsanne straight so handy to the Tram and Carrefour. Very different in the last few years. Most camper seem to be in caravans if that is not a contradiction  :) Fenced in to give a pretence of security but that just makes it look like a cage of monkeys  ;D On a good day you can see the track from your tent but nost of the time just the arses of a bunch of spectators  ;D I guess i will get to see what it looks like from inside the fence when i come to collect that beer you owe me  ;D or will by the time i walk all the way from Blu Nord.
BN has the Bretheren bash within earshot and the constant assault of helicopters to keep us on our toes. The warm welcome extended by Werner and the Liverpool boys to name just two makes being folded up like a pretzel on an Airbus endurable.  ::)
