Oh marvellous, I look forward to receiving my tickets and then trying to work out where on BN we will be.

Never mind that they probably won't have informed the bicycle attendants either and they will have to work it out too !
They'll probably just plonk people in random spots around BN then start filling up the field across the road like they did to us in previous years when we arrived on the thursday and they realised they had given our pitch away. I believe they called it BN annex that year !!!

bicycle attendants - few years ago, - she was very nice on her bike, she took us all over the site, till she realised she had the map upside down  Grin

I seem to recall she was nice but as expected hadn't a clue where any of the pitches were.  Now they've worked it out the change was guaranteed!  I'm sure we'll cope Smiley

Just got my allocation from TL - Rang D all the way to O, place 36. I'm presuming there's no obviously direct mapping to the old Rang numbers - which started a 3 anyway. If they run from A -> now, then the place 36 is larger than previously. If they start at C (which is always possible, given than 3 was the previous start) then it means my block would fit into Place 36 but with a spot at either end.

We now have the renamed plan... should be editable by anyone, without having to suffer Google Spreadsheets...

http://1drv.ms/RYkbyw

There's an attempt to show the basic location in the 2nd sheet...

Aerial photo of the area is on http://binged.it/1jP8h4Y

Mmmm, just plotted my allocation on the new plan.  My total of 17 pitches in 4 distinct parts of the campsite. A block of 8 pitches, a block of 5 pitches and 2 blocks of 2 pitches, not what I asked for  Huh.

First 3 are all at Southern end of site and not unacceptably spread (A-P 7, 8, 11) but I also have 2 pitches at the other end of the campsite T76 and U 76  Angry.

Ewan , on the linked site plan pitches A11 and B11 are still greyed as your allocation.  However, that doesn't seem to tie in with your post below and I've received tickets for A11 and B11?  Grateful if you would clarify that you only have D36-O36.

Of course when we get there it will be totally different!

Added my six pitches.

Entrance is shown on this map is bottom right - surely it should be bottom left??

Del - the entrance should be just above where the road label says "Route de la Heronniere" - that's the main drag into BN where the toilet block is; you drive straight towards the airfield and then turn left or right along the fence at the top of the picture. The whole picture is basically rotated 45 degrees from where it should be (see http://binged.it/1oSVDF4) just to make it a bit easier to envisage.

elanman - the A11/B11 etc grayed out squares were there when I got the original spreadsheet - I've un-grayed them now on the version online... Bad luck on the allocation - did you get them from TL or somewhere else?

Ewan,  thanks for confirming that, I assumed that was the case but it's good to know.  I now know where the French element of our party are and it will be manageable I think, apart from the 2 at the opposite end of the campsite.  Tickets came from Le Mans Tourist Office whom I've dealt with for many years.

Thanks for this, I've just added our allocation.
