Yes, in fact there is a 'Rue de Bolton' in Le Mans city centre, and a 'Le Mans crescent' in Bolton.

and Bolton is also twinned with Paderborn in Germany and Paderborn is twinned with ........... Le Mans.

Makes for good love triangles on those local authority twinning visits :o :o

I seem to remember them doing something in the past, not sure if it's an annual thing though.
Of course I buy green cars, my Aston is green, my MGB is green, my Disco Sport is green,  oh, that's not what you meant by green?

They did in 2011 for definate because I had a look on the Sunday on the way home from Nottingham where I had been attending a wedding hence why I wasn't at Le Mans that year. To be honest it was a bit sh*t and they really needed a big screen showing live coverage of the race from Le Mans but said they couldn't show it in public due to licencing issues. Without the race on for people to watch, the whole thing fell flat on it's arse.
