ACO enclosure beer price was 500ml for 5 euro + 1 euro cup deposit (unless you had a 'roving' cup in your pocket).

Didn't see ANY tartiflete stalls this year though

Yep, I couldn't see either of Le Mans national dishes this year being the Tartifette or the Grand Marnier Crepe stalls.

I second the Crepe store, very nice. I did pay 13 Euros for a nice (horse?) burger and fries. I didn't actually want fries, just the burger. But that wasn't an option
They have a captive audience I suppose, so they charge whatever they feel they can get away with. Is it any difference at F1 Races (I wouldn't know).

Found the GM crepe stall, still as good as they always were.

I too found the Grand Marnier crepe stall to continue a tradition of Midnight snack. First suggested by Grand fromage and I have manged it every year since 1999  Had the pleasure of Dottore's company for this years. I did notice the hole in the giant bottle was much smaller than other years.....so I persevered until my crepe was swimming 
Euro 3.80 which I think was up 20c from last year.

I think Tartiflete was avaialble from one of the independent stalls down towards Tetre Rouge from Dunlop Bridge, if memory serves me right about 8 euro, not that I had any.

There was a survey in yesterdays metro on cost of attending Festivals including food and beer, and Le Mans would have outpriced them all.  Not sure about F1 have not been for years.  I know when I used to go to Silverstone and Brands Hatch the prices were high but not unreasonably so, and the circuits deliberately set them that way.

The new food stall beside the entrance to BN camping bit (next to the showers) I thought wasn't to bad for prices with kebab and chips at €6. Not cheap but for the place not bad. I didn't partake as we had mountains of food and beer about 100yds away  . We did though fill a massive tray with chips for €20 to feed 14 people avec steaks with a load being binned. I thought the supermarket prices had increased this year, nearly €80 for 4 legs of lamb being particularly memorable although nice.

That looks like a nice setup bet the old IPA took a bit of looking

I thought it was €6.50 + €1 cup deposit for .5l draft beer or did I read the price list wrong ? Not sure as i only bought draft in ACO enclosure which was 1664 by the way and not standard kronenbourg.

PS Does anyone know whether it is frowned upon to bring beer into the 17/18 ACO grandstands ?

I'll put some examples of the 2014 prices in next year's CA guide - so especially the newbies know what to expect. Since I never bought anything at the track this year I need to know from those who did - so we are accurate. Up to now I've learned from this thread:

Drinks:
0.5 ltr. draft beer: 9.00 € (Question: Do you have to pay deposit for the plastic mugs? If so, how much?)
0.33 ltr can Coke: 3.00 €
0.5 ltr draft beer in A.C.O. member enclosures: 5.00 €
0.56 ltr (1 Pint) draft Guinness at the Guinness bar: 7.00 € (deposit for the mug?)

Food
Fish & Chips: 15.00 €
Paella: 16.00 €

Any other examples?

Fot the few beers I bought at the track, I always paid € 6,50 + € 1 deposit

Yep - € 6,50 + € 1 for the cup.

I had drink with a Kiwi chum and had to explain the deposit thing to him as he thought it was a tax.
