The longest Bomb raid in history. Airfields who needs stinking airfields  ;D  when there is no LAND just Sea.
Think of the consequences of  some of their decisions. ( Now we know it worked...but they had to decide)

Very pleased to have seen her at Cosford yesterday

That Twitter feed is very useful when tracking her, I think it must be kept up to date by one of the flight crew

"We're coming in to Elvington now, give us a wave" is the sort of info it gives live

Almost makes me like Twitter

sort of...
I was using the Twitter feed at East Midlands and Duxford. Was funny at EMA, as you heard a beep ripple along the crowdline as the messages arrived.

It was a wonderful sight, and I will be sad to see the Vulcan grounded  again, but what a great few years extra life
Wooosh!!!!

About 9 days to last flight.....

Flypasts at Gaydon this Saturday and Biggleswade on Sunday, and a farewell north and south flypast next weekend.

Then that's it folks.....

Lovely flypast at Coningsby yesterday, firstly a couple of solo passes, then she went off to the Petwood, then came back, with 7 Spitfires and 2 Hurricanes escorting

Channel 4 screened the documentary Guy Martin Last Flight of the Vulcan on Sunday night.

You can catch it on C4's catch-up service together with a couple of additional programmes that were not broadcast.
