As a wedding is on the horizon for June 2016. Still in the early stages. What weekend should be avoided.
Just to clear something up , (Stu) it's my youngest daughter who is getting married .

I thought they didn't bother with marriage nowadays, and  planning it 20 months ahead sound like a wind up.

As a good father, tell her to get on with it before he changes his mind ;D

The 24th weekend in 2016 is 11/12, but who knows what football or other crud is on at that time which would make the ACO move it to a week later.

I would have suggested that marriage be avoided, however I have been blissfully married for 23 years, or so my wife says...

The rule of thumb is the 2nd weekend in June, but that has a habit of changing now and then. Generally it coincides with UK 'father's day'. Basically, none of june is 'safe'.

Just to be the safe side book the wedding in Le Mans then nothing can go wrong!
