Sharing your tent
« on: December 08, 2003, 11:32:17 pm »
Been to the Beer Mountain site and seen Mr Toads backgound references ( what were you selling in "the park"  ? ) and love the thought of sharing my tent with Phillipa Forester , and not Rich ( Le Mans SPS ) who quite frankly isnt my type....

My choice of tent sharing wench would be : Elizabeth Shue ( SCHWING )

 :P :P :P :P :P :P

My tent will only ever be shared with Carole Bouquet. Which is rather a possibility seeing as she at least is a native!! (Yeah, right .. in my dreams!). Someone would have to keep hubby Gerard Depardieu distracted outside - not difficult, just offer him a big glass of rouge and some smelly cheese.  ;D

I'd have to go for Amanda Stretton.  She could pop in for some 'relaxation' between one of her driving stints ;)

Share my tent!!!
Can we have a Club Arnage Award For Bravery?
Actually, early in the week I can think of one or two, but as they may read this forum now and then, I better keep quiet (unlike in the tent).
Towards the end of the week Professor Christian Barnard (God bless his latex gloves and rest his soul) and an electrician who thinks outside the box would be handy men to have close at hand.
Glen Fiddich has been a regular overnight guest, but I think I'll just have to settle for Raoul, after all, he doesn't take up much room.

Welcome back H, we've missed you. How was your oolitic island. Oolitic is something to do with shellfish, crabs etc isn't it? Or is it just shells? I can never remember.
I wouldn't sit there if I were you, it's still a bit wet.

Limestone AZ, lots of it. Crabs as well no doubt.
Sadly, if BA had got me back a little earlier I would have been up for maybe a small light ale in London Towne. I could have shown you the crabs.
Eminemetic seems to be popular in Crawley these days, have you checked up your sleeve? A rogue cat maybe? I have to admit there's a lot of romance in a watery puke on a Crawley traffic light in December after a skinful, it's just that the mainstream writers don't pick up on it. mind you, there's the Turner Prize...
Notes that I have tell me I came across a Canadian man in a boat who shared my interest in oblivion. Now, we may have been talking at cross purposes but he claimed he was well up on Commas and has a considerable collection, he's going to e-mail me some pics.
In the cold light of day, this seems a smidgeon on the ridiculous side, I'm beginning to wonder what he was really talking about. I'll keep you posted. Anyway, he was of the 'Le Mans! I've always wanted to do that one' persuasion, so I've "arranged" (bear in mind this was done after a bottle of Vodka) for a place at MB for him next year. He was in a tidy little 40' 10 berth sailing thingy, it's got to be better than BA, could be a nice little travel alternative for Canada Phil.
How are you Phil!?

Welcome back H,

Ahh, the Turner Prize, we should have entered Trayboy as a living sculpture, he would have walked it and Pork Chop would certainly have won the prize for 'Woman of the day'.

I've always has a penchant for Vicki Butler Henderson both in the motoring department and the bedroom department (or should that be trouser dept?).
Anyway, I'm not sure if she's the type to spend the night under canvas  :'(

Actually I have a picture of Mr Disco taken a few years back on Houx - here he is with his latest favourite video retiring to his tent - I think the film is "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" and the young lady in question is Truely Scrumptious! Ahh, those were the days

Robbo - also forgot to answer your question - in my "repping" days I was the man from the brewery selling beer to all the working mens clubs from Paulsgrove up to Waterlooville - many was the time I was worried about leaving the wheels unattended!
