Is that in the US or Canada?  A gorgeous sight and sound - remember well the one in UK displaying before its tragic crash in '96.

Weren't they rebuilding another in Herts?  There are a few in museums, but according to wikithingy, the Yanks have the only flyer and that was built in Canada.  Mind you, I often fly in Canadian built De Havilands, with 2 propellers but no bomb bays

There are only 2 airworthy Mozzies (at present) both in North America. There is a British team are trying to raise the funds to get "The Peoples Mosquito" airborne.

The one being rebuilt in Herts is the original prototype, and thats at the de Havilland museum at London Colney (just off the M25)

Or, on closer look as the proportions didnt look quite right, in France, or UK if it has come across the Channel again.

It's a 3\4 scale replica built in France a few years ago.

If Continentals are made by Lycoming, then yes.

There are2 flying mozzies, one built from scratch recently in New Zealand, i believe now owned by Jerry Yagen. And 1 in Canada.

Recently announced that the Vulcan to the sky and "The peoples mosquito" may be joining forces, as well as the crew at Biggin being hired to restore one, so potential 2 mosquitos flying in the uk soon.
