Expo-Best place for a single tent.
« on: April 24, 2016, 09:11:13 pm »
Hi guys.

I'm on Expo this time round and I'll have a standard-type 2-person tent with a tarp that I can string between trees. No car. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good spot for me to pitch up, seeing as Expo isn't too well supplied with grassy bit that aren't concreted over.

Any ideas, anybody?

Have they taken out the cow sheds where you were before?

Cow sheds are still there, but I very much doubt I'll be able to get pegs into the ground. If I remember rightly the cowsheds are built on concrete.

When we camped in expo we used to use 3 inch super screws and a Cordless to "peg" down our tents. Couldnt get the "pegs" back out though. Mind you they never blew down. Good luck and have a nice time.
