Campsites a mudbath
« on: June 12, 2016, 06:43:43 pm »
Arnage campsite today is extremely soggy from historic rain. With more forecast for next 7days I would guess at least Arnage will be much worse than 2013. Bring tow straps, snow chains, wellies or whatever would be my advice, potentially dry spots have already gone.

Cheers for info . I've got a cylinder of helium from cave dive center and ballons to try and float the van out of any mud.

Suddenly being in New York in glorious sunshine doesn't seem so bad.  >:D

Who am I kidding?  Wishing I was there to play in the mud with all of you.

Have a good one guys.  I'll be back next year.

Mega rain storm again last night, any appearance that things are drying out is an illusion.

At least the sun came out this morning, let's it will stay dry at least for one day

Wrong! Too late to tell you it hissed down huh? Raining now as I speak too and storms forecast this evening. Surprisingly I popped in to BSJ and apart from some areas it looks not too bad. Oh, and our ferry last night was on time and arrived at Ouistreham with no problems.
