Slowly going through a bunch of pictures from the whole race week.
As this was the first time in 3 years to get a full accreditation I went "outside" a lot, not being a lot on the section of the track between Ford curves and Tertre Rouge. The rain delay in the final session on Thursday didn't really help with that too. Learnt a lot about the track again though, when & where to shoot with great light, where not to shoot and how to get to several places. Just need to find a way to get through Sunday morning again ... had a power nap in the car for 2 hours on Saturday night which basically killed me on Sunday. Went out again 2 times but never managed any good shots again. Not enough sleep in the days before the race ? Too much walking around on Saturday or not taking enough rest (went out shooting for almost 11 hours at once without a decent break) ... things to think about for next year.
Anyway ... first results are here. Expect much, much more in the days to come, and a first big gallery by the weekend. Hope to get everything finished in 2 weeks time.
