Bring shifted from a campsite of long habit to a new one can be a good thing....We missed BN this year, but enjoyed Epinette

And never leave home without full wet gear

And it's not over until it's over..

Quel age avez-vous? Vous êtes en train d'apprendre cela?

I see you've been on CA five years so you have at least that many...sheessshhh!!!  :o

The rain? Ovals, you don't have to worry about it...you know it ain't happening. Any real racing (road courses) it's a given.
The finish? Ain't that true about anything? :)

Jim,

Sorry, we don't do French stuff anymore, we're off....

Can my passable French now be replaced by shouting and pointing?

Steve,

It does. Well, apart from the time when we cash in those offshore investments we made a few days ago.

What I learned was a six hour delay at the Eurotunnel terminal is not a good or relaxing way to end a great weekend
If I was you, I wouldn't start from here

I believe that there exists a compensation scheme. We were lucky and got on the 10.20 shuttle with no problems but were still contacted by SpeedChills to tell us that they are managing the compensation package offered by Eurotunnel.

...that the police are out in force on the roads north and to have a pocket full of used euros if stopped!

And?

Considering how much I drank during Sunday, much to my amazement 0.0 mg, the liver must still be working then.    ;D

What did we learn?

Not to take so much camping gear that there's not enough room in the car for a few cases of wine - not that we had time you understand, just 5.5 hours delayed at the tunnel.
Crouch..........bind..........set

2. We re-lived past pleasures by leaving the circuit and driving back to Rouen via the D338 rather than the auto routes. Road was empty, scenery beautiful and brought back some happy memories.

I drove down to Le Mans on the D338. Recently tarmac'd, not many cars in sight and new sticky tyres  ;D

Made up for the fact that the rest of my party didn't stop when I had to pull over in Rouen to put the roof up in the rain on the Wednesday and then they missed the 338 junction so went down on the toll to Le Mans by mistake.  >:D

Take everything you need in the car regardless (so all weather clothing) and dont forget to take a tent like I did so 1 lad slept in his car and the other shared a 1 man tent lol.

Lesson learnt roll on 2017 cant wait now.
