Classic 2018
« on: November 13, 2017, 02:16:12 pm »
We have purchased 2 camping tickets for the classic, at a cost of 100 euro each for BN, the last time we attended we camped on MB, my question is, does your camping ticket give you access to the circuit.?

Hi Brian,

no, it doesn't. GE for the Classic is 55,- €, an additional paddock pass (well worth the money) is 39,- €

Hi Brian, on the ticket is says from 5. - 8. July 2018, but no times are mentioned. I assume they open Thursday morning. But an email to the ACO could clarify that.

havn't been to the classic for a while, on ACO site they are offering grandstand seats with views of "large screens" I dont remember there being any coverage "on screen" last time i was there, can anyone who went in 2016 advise please
also anyone fell foul of the "dress code police" is this a recent thing ?

The dress code isn't Goodwood standard and is sporadically enforced. The ACO have succeeded in erasing almost all traces of the old circuit buildings and features, so generating a 'period atmosphere' isn't really going to work. That said, the event is still well worth attending.

We haven't been for a few years but we always got into the paddocks wearing cargo shorts. Was wearing a shirt rather than a T though.
