Chunnel check in times
« on: February 22, 2018, 07:06:18 pm »
For those of you using the Chunnel, I have just booked a crossing in April and noticed that the last check in time has been increased to 45 minutes in both directions.

Do they not just put you on the next available one anyway? I'll be honest I haven't been on the tunnel for years as I am tight and cant justify the price being double the ferry.

Meaning £188 for chunnel, when the cost of the ferry is £80. Sorry I should of put that.

Ahh which ferry service is that?
Haven't looked at the Southern ones tbh as the go to for me would be Hull.

Current price for Eurotunnel is £136 there & back. For me the speed and flexibility of times is a big plus.

DFDS I tend to use, unless I am going to Germany when my car is to low to get on the ferry without issues
