Firstly, thanks for all the interest in this forum.  Its like 20 years ago.

As for beer free entrance, From Epinettes, if you go through the Houx entrance, you get done over with a very long walk

That's a horrible walk alright. I though i saw them checking backpacks there too though ??

They check everything.  The long walk is just a bonus.  I should have said "plus a very long dry walk"

It's such a pain in the arse.the inconsistency that pisses me off.once we were told no beer so we sat on a wall next to a great stack of confiscated bottles and tins.we started to drink ours then realized there were nicer Belgium beers in the pile.by the time we'd swilled few we found hiding places in our clothes and bags.we ended up having a great drink and taking more booze into the circuit than we arrived with.
