Hi all,

Does anyone know (or know where I can find out) how big the allocated pitches are in the Houx campsite?

Last year and as they have been for many years 5m x 5m. This makes them no bigger than a VW Passat Estate. It is a very pathetic size of pitch given what the campsite aims to cater for.

However all pitches are alongside a road so most will enable you to overhang the road with a car/motorhome/caravan. (Just make sure you leave enough space for us to get out.

Yes 5x5 seems right.

I am taking a 16' caravan with 'a' frame about 19' long UUUMMMM should be interesting in getting it in.

I know last year they were pushing the caravans down the bottom of the site towards the race track, this year I have booked 2 pitches, 2 cars 1 caravan and a tent  (hopefully), and am taking plenty of extension cable for leccy as last year I had 2 cables about 50 metres and only just reached, and I had people hotwiring off my mains unit, and people hotwiring off the people who were hot wiring of off mine.
