Remember the good old days when some teams still had money for t-cars? Which year was this picture taken?
Cheers

1985. The car only practiced, hence the T.

Sorry, hgb and rcutler, but this one is definitely not on my 1985 film rolls. Any better guess?

The T car in 83 was number 33 no works cars in 84 not 85 the car looks more 956 than 962 so that makes it 82, the first year the 956 ran.

I agree Matt. I'm no expert but it seems to be in some sort of sprint or short tail trim. Not really what you would want on the pre-chicane Mulsanne straight is it? Anyone who know's better care to comment? PS Werner, great to hear from you again. How's life in Hanoi? Don't be such a stranger on CA!

Hi Andy,
yes, nice to be back on the forum and also nice to be back in Europe (Germany). After 5 years we've left Hanoi as planned, our contracts were finished and are now back in Cologne. Still miss a few things from Vietnam, the good food, rice wine and motocycle riding, but living in Germany now makes my visits to Le Mans as lot easier and much cheaper!!!
