Brian - Matt was so overcome with emotion over the Morgan performance it was embarrassing.  He was wiping tears from his eyes as that bulbous smoking heap spluttered over the start/finish line at 10:30 p.m.

Thank God for BMW V8 motors eh?

Nice to see the Smokie in that t shirt. And it fits.

I watched the race on Motors TV , and was pleased to the Morgan finished. even better to see someone eat huble pie , although it looks like most of you ate a little too much.

Take life by the horns and live it.

Having commended the Morgan and TVRs for finishing, watching their on-track performance certainly reinforced how horribly slow they are.  Finishing is obviously no insignificant accomplishment - especially on that track, but sitting in the pits balcony, it was clear how out-powered or out-set up the cars were.  They would essentially pull over close to the pit wall and let the entire field including all 911s piss past them.

Shame they're not faster as it would certainly give UK fans a little more to cheer about in June.

I can't tell you how hurt I feel by your cruel comments, Robbo. You really know how to cut a guy down to size. I'm hubbled, truly hubbled.

Matt, does this mean the humble pie is going to cost you £25, to sponsor a Morgan.
Great Pics.
Brian

Hi Brian
You got me there dude. However, I can't think that my 25 quid would make much difference, so, on balance I think I'll just give it to the RSPCA, as I feel that one of their wheezing old dogs will have an equal chance of winning GT at Le Mans.

Has anyone else noticed the similarity between our correspondent Harper M and TV funnyman Phil Jupitus?

Piccies below; one is of a goatee bearded, somewhat chubby, lovable humourous gentleman. The other is of a fat tw at from Yorkshire.
