When I was at the Tetre last year I was told it was going to be demolished. Does anyone know if that is the case?

Tetre Rage more like it! Many is the session had in there.

Yes, the old boy reckoned that the French equivalent of Compulsory Purchase was being served on him. There is to be a tram link to the Antares building, and the bar is pretty well on the centre line.

I reckon the wheels of public transport are turning slowly though, as there is no sign (from what I've heard) of any work starting yet, so maybe he's had a stay of execution.

They'd be better off putting a tram link to Caen or Cherbourg, or maybe even Clapham Junction.

It was still there in November and I seem to remember Gilles saying that it was just being sold last year. Or was that just an illusion ?
I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.

Had a few pints in the bar this weekend, the owners Isabelle and Damien, informed us that the Bar is not being demolished, they said that the ACO, got involved and guess what the bar stays and the tram way will be diverted around them. Great news.

Great news, now we just have to persuade the Le Mans council to extend the tram link to Mulsanne corner.
