This year our annual trip to the promised land is going to be a bit thin on the ground so I might have the answer to your problems. If anyone  wants to self drive we can provide hospitality. For the bargain price of £70 per person we can provide access onto Houx Annexe, all food for the weekend, as much lager as you can drink, a great firework display and a bloody good laugh. Iam not talking sausage and burger type food I guarentee good quality if not goumet cuisine. We will be arriving early Friday morning and leaving Monday morning. I will be towing a trailor so will be able to carry any tent etc that you may not have room for. We have decided to offer this to 1 car of maybe 4 people as the logistics could end up a nightmare. This is a genuine offer no rip off no pisstake , anyone interested let me know you are welcome to join us  :)

Great Idea Bob, unfortunalty i spent all winter making a purpose built trailer for the very same reason.

Can you definitely only offer for one car?

If it was 2 cars with 4 people I'd take them.

Hi Andy
           I stated one car as I presumed a full car saves on fuel costs, didn't think of two seaters ( what a div it is Le Mans after all ). Yeh two cars is no problem, four people makes it up to our usual number so there will be no problem with extra catering. give me a call on 01494 814527 and I can give you more details.

I should really mind my own business on this one, but:

That's fighting talk and no mistake, are there any guarantees, and what first aid facilities are you putting in the trailer? I'd suggest a de-fib kit and a couple of paracetamols at the very least.

I too, thought the lager comment might be open to interpretation.
That notwithstanding, sounds like a good arrangement, with the proviso that the host wears butlers attire at all times, answers to the name Geeves and genuinely waits upon the guests, hand and foot (to include wiping/dabbing).

Sorry I haven't got back to you, I haven't been able to get in touch with my brother (he's on holiday) to confirm he's ok with it.

I'm going away tomorrow for 6 days, so it will be the end of next week before I can confirm.

Don't want to mess you about, or keep you hanging on, so if you sell the tickets before then, then we'll look elsewhere.
