They don´t know what they are missing! I can't believe why there are so few Swedes at Le Mans. Sometimes I think it's more swedish drivers then visitors! SHAME ON U SWEDEN!  Grin

Bit harsh on your countrymen. Never been too many Swedish drivers or teams at Le Mans and it's a bloody long way to drive.

1252 miles from Stockholm, to be precise Andy, or 2015 kilometers.  Welcome Jerry & Marcus, that is a bloody long drive.  Shocked

Hmmm. There has actually been a few swedish drivers over the years. I actually think that last year there was at least 2. Stefan Johansson and Kalle Rosenblad. The year before that there was 3 drivers Kalle Rosenblad, Rickard rydell and Ted Björk. Not bad for a small country like sweden.  Wink

And yes it's a pretty long drive but we try to make the trip as enjoyable as possible. A few years back we toke 2 pitstops. One in Amsterdam (...redlight...) and one in Paris ( i realy liked that big red windmill..). And every year we also take the over night ferry from Gothenburg to Kiel. Good food and beer on the boat and you wake up after good nights sleep feeling fresh to go racing on the German Autobahn.  Cool

This year we will be at least 10 in our bunch!

If you are in BSJ then we'll have to share a beer or six. That's provided that a Dane (my wife) is close enough to Denmark for ya'. Besides, the Danes have Jan Magnussen and Tom Kristiansen! Look for the Ferrari with a Danish flag on it!

Thanks for invitation! As it seems we have got hold of Houx Annex tickets after all (BSJ for sale and also Maison Blanche stand) but perhaps we will take an excursion to you anyway. The only swede this year that I now of is Rickard Rydell in a Ferrari.

Matt,

Besides from Jan and Tom, we (Denmark) also have the no. 20 (Lister Racing) with three danes, including John Nielsen (former LM winner) and Lars Nielsen in no. 81 (Porsche 911).

That's 6 Danes - pretty good :-)

I wonder if Tom will win yet again this year.

What is the phrase, Danish Dynomite? Grin

Even kept in mind that Tom K is one of the greatest racers ever, I'm not sure that he will win this year. But he should get in to the top-3.
The "problem" (pretty fair though) this year is that all Audi's are racing each other.

Yep, the phrase is right, but I don't hope that it'll mean that the motor will blow up  Shocked
