Clubarnage Picture Storage.

I was discussing with Smokie on sunday that it would be good if we could have a place where the pictures placed on the forum could be stored. I have an unlimited web host and am willing to store the pictures on part of my website. This part of the webiste I am happy to have in the same format as the Clubarnage web but will have to have the domain www.24-lemans.com.

I am only on dial-up at home so recieving and uploading a large volume of pictures is out of the question. Is there someone that would like to take on this and I will then supply the usernames and passwords for the FTP site.

Thanks Rick, I've made this post sticky for all to see and note. It would be a fine idea, seeing as older pics are lost when they have to clear down the pics here when the bin gets full.

Although there may be a delay in me getting round to posting them, I don't mind trying to manage the postings for a bit. I'm on 1mb broadband (soon to be 1.5!). If anyone else would like to volunteer instead, I won't be offended!

Let's sort out how it works, then we can annouce how to submit pics.

I have spoken with stu who said that he can probably maintain the site. I have supplied him with an email address that they can be sent to.
I think the easiest way to view these is if I set up a folder on the FTP site as www.24-lemans.com/clubarnage ( A Link to this could be set up as a locked thread on General Discussion).

I set up my web with dreamweaver whenever a page of 20 pictures are ready. Pictures could be pulled from the forum but preferably I guess for people to email them to stu. I have an unlimited supply of email addresses at my domain and they all have auto forwarders so more than one could be arranged. An index style page should be used I guess maybe with years and misc folders.
My website may look really good but to have it in the style I have chosen takes me forever to update.

I will check with stu if he is happy to take on this and that he was sober at the time! I will also publish his address if he goes ahead.
