The place is gorgeous and a perfect place to impress any of our "better" halves, or whichever wench we are trying to impress. Real history here.

As for Lord Charles, I remember him too, but I never found him that funny. The big 4-0h is fast approaching for me too. Frightening particularly as I still have a mental age of 15.

I'm driving to the match so any crying into my own beer will have to be done on my return to the Flatlands on Sunday night.

Nice to be the underdogs these days in a strange sort of way .. it was always boring (NOT!) when we won everything!! I remember the days etc...........
