Any chance of a lift from someone going late?
« on: May 25, 2004, 08:13:41 pm »
One of our "team" has at last managed to get some time off work but can only get Monday off so can't travel down with our gang.

Is there anyone heading down on a Friday overnighter or Saturday morning with a spare seat that could give him a lift down. He has a seat available in one of our cars for the return journey so that's not a problem (you'll still have space for your wine/beer to take home!!  :)) He is fully car and potty trained and doesn't snore too loudly.

Naturally he'd be willing to pay for any additional costs re: changing ferry booking etc and pay towards fuel etc. And of course we would be very grateful and will have several cold beers waiting when you arrive!!

  • You're either at Le Mans, or waiting for Le Mans!

Got space for one on a Thursday overnighter leavingfrom the High Wycombe area. I know its 24 hours too early for your mate but if he is prepared to pull a sickie we will be willing to give him a lift.

Thanks for the offer Bob, but he has an important meeting on the Friday so the sickie isn't an option.

Cheers Anyway!!

I'm leaving Reading around 13h00 Friday (Dover 15h00 for 16h00 Seacat) and stopping at Rouen Formule 1 Friday night if interested?
