Just watched top gear where they simulated a car being struck by lightning, leave TMDG CD's in the shade (but I am sure he will go one better in Le Mans) Wink

I thought last weeks 'Car Darts' was a bit of a hoot. Bit tricky to try that at LM though.

Mind you with talk of fertiliser propellants and other explosive shenanigans on another thread who knows..........

Unfortunately my 850w Genny won't power a decent Tesla Coil,  However, a the guy at work that does the ESD training has a good Van de Graaff generator may be I'll take that too.  (I wonder if he'd miss it?)  

May be next year we can find a spot near a Power line and then we realy can try the lighting stuff.   Grin

It was a little dissapointing that everything worked after the zapping it got.

I've not had time to organize tickets for  my cookery demonstrations so admission will be by production of something to cook.  I'm really after a some small fluresent tube not more that a foot long.  Also dud light bulbs are good too.
