Don't give in! You must go! The repercussions of 'doing as you're told' are too serious to contemplate...

Just claim that the voices urge you to go and it'll be perfectly alright.  ;D
I don't care - I'm a racing driver and I'm here to win, not to finish third.

Wow there sav, i'm only marrying her, jees, cannot imagine what it'll be like when shes up the duff. Wedding planning is enough of a nightmare as it is. :o

I'm off to the borders now for a weekend of closed road tarmac rallying with the lads (just discovered 2 packets of carrefor chippolatas in the bottom of the cool box :-X ,ah such happy memories) I will let the dust settle for a few days before sugesting that it might be good for ones inner self to go down silverstone for a weekend.

You could always get a mate to get tickets and mail them to you with a note saying "thought you'd like a great surprise" or such like, leading you into the "isn't that thoughtful, it would be really rude to refuse etc...".   That way you don't have to go down the "good for ones inner self" route which would doubtless lead to unwanted exploration of that inner self......

Is anyone else getting peed off with Silverstone? Every week I ring, and every time I get "we've no info yet, ring back next week" fine, except yesterday I got "we'll have no details for a couple of weeks" ??? What could possibly be taking so long?

Things not going to plan then, you reckon. What a surprise that would be. Bring F1 back to Brands, that's what I say!
