Friday night in Cardiff
« on: June 24, 2004, 06:01:08 pm »
Afternoon All,

Again this has got sweet fanny adams to do with cars, and this time this is a piece of blatant self promotion.....

If anyone is in Cardiff tomorrow night I'm djing at The Holodeck night at the Welsh Club. First ever gig so much *FEAR* - any moral support would be nicely appreciated.

 ;D

I'll definately be giving as much moral support as I can muster from my pissed up state in the Goodwood area.

GO BIRD!

Not sure but I think you have to pay to drive there. Good luck as well.

Unfortunately yes you do have to pay to get in if you use the motorway. I think they got the plans the wrong way around when they constructed the toll booths. Think positive - you don't have to pay to get out again.

However when you get here I think you'll find it's been worth the money. Cardiff is a very vibrant city with great nightlife, friendly people (well most of the time - unless you're a fan of any team opposing Cardiff FC - the Milwall of the West) and you'll probably want to come back again. Just watch out for the Valleys girls out for a night on the town. All corned beef legs and mini skirts but harmelss enough.

Note: I do not work for the Welsh tourist board but am an Englisman who lives and works here.

Good luck with your gig. I won't be there though as I'm far too old for all this dj'ing stuff (so the kids tell me).

Cardiff is the place that the english are lucky to have use of to play their big football matches in.As for the cost of getting into Gods Country, just wait to see what it'll cost to go into the new Dome...i mean Wembley.

Not bad at all mate! Had the Fear badly for the first 20 mins, but after that I managed to pluck up the courage to look up and saw a room full of people bouncing around. They've asked me back too.  ;D

Cheers for the messages y'all  ;D

xx
