How long are you away for Smokie?

I was thinking of a provisional date of Friday 16th July?

At the same pub we used last time? Can't remember the name, probably to wrecked  Embarrassed Grin

The Back of Beyond was the place we went to last time,  However there are a few other pubs in town with a good selection of Real Ale.  It depends what you want really - if you want that Fosters Pish  or Alcopops then we can go any where - if you want to try real beer then we can go to:

The Back of Beyond
The Hogshead
The Hobgoblin

There are more - but if I give too many places you'll only argue Wink

Otherwise - we could do Wokingham - lots of Pubs there - or somewhere like Crowthorne/Sandhurst  - some pubs there and easier access for Robbo and those coming Via M3.

Has a date been sorted as I can probably drag my ar*e across to Reading or Wokingham if it's a Friday or Saturday.

R u bringing the cobra?  Steve Brown - 'all round good egg and snappy dresser'.  Could have a car meet as well, might polish the spyder and have a run out.  Centre of reading is out as the parking is not very good.  Somthing just outside would be better.

If people are driving, why not 3 Mile Cross, just off the M4.( No idea of pubs there though )

For those in Basingstoke, i can pick you up ( dates permitting )

It's a bit out of the way if you aren't driving!

However I'm away from Saturday for two weeks so that's academic for me...

The Black Boy is the other pub in Three Mile Cross - easy to find, big car park - good food apparently and some good beers too I think......

I dont really know Three Mile cross - i'll have a look on my way home tonight though.

The one that was suggested looks a bit grubby from where I drive past it.....

So when does everyone want to aim for??

Smokie is soon away for two weeks. That takes us to the Classic weekend which is no good, then we are at the end of July and into the main holiday period.
