To be honest I feel for him having to put up with traffic but there are plenty of ways to slow vehicles down without resorting to cameras.

If someone brakes hard & there is a pile up outside his house I for one would put him down as the party responsible for the accident.

I used to (& sometimes still do) drive down the old A120 in Essex, it's a nice clear road & when it is safe to do so 80mph is a not wholly unrealistic speed. There are some houses close to the road & a good driver would slow for the populated stretches of road. it's just a shame there are not enough "sensible" drivers who can use good judgement to decide what constitutes a fun yet safe speed. Hence the need for speed cameras all over this land.

OK lets not get into that old argument shall we..............

There was a guy near here that put a fake Gatso up on a long straight, claimed it was a bird box! and I belive caused a few near misss and few dented bumbers. He was told to remove by the local plod, or go straight to jail and pay £ 200.

I suppose a home made Gatso could end up looking like an old microwave up on a pole, eh Tom??!!   ;D
